Julia is the CEO of Gaia Innovation Ltd and the award-winning founder of the Automotive 30% Club; a network of over 70 automotive CEOs and MDs who are building high performing gender-balanced teams by increasing female representation to rise to the challenges of industry transformation. They have the power to make change happen. She is also a Vice President of the Automotive Leadership Network, and a Vice President and Honorary Fellow of The IMI, and has 30 years’ experience in automotive in HR, Training, Sales, Marketing and Product Development.  She supports leaders to create inclusive cultures that enable people to achieve their full potential; advises on delivering school engagement activities to inform youngsters about careers; and inspires women to progress in the industry.

The Club aims for a “tipping point” of at least 30% representation of diverse women in key leadership roles by 2030 through a ‘30 by 30’ strategy. Julia creates forums through which members “collaborate to accelerate” the change, including CEO closed-circle meetings. Her book, “Change the Game: A leader’s route map to a winning, gender-balanced business” was published in 2021.
