Arnold Clark Case Study (Carol Henry)

Carol is responsible for guiding, managing and providing strategy on the people function. This includes employee relations, engagement, recruitment, health and safety, payroll and training. She joins Eddie Hawthorne, CEO and Group MD of Arnold Clark in his role as a Patron of the Automotive 30% Club.

Carol is driven by a sense of purpose to help Arnold Clark become not just the largest, but the best retailer and employer of choice for existing and future talent. Currently, she’s striving to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive workplace, with gender parity, youth employment and diversity at the heart of the agenda. She is also a Board Member of the Scottish HR Leadership Group and a Chartered Fellow Member of the CIPD.
