Matt is Director of Growth & Development at Ben, the charity dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of people in the UK automotive industry. With senior responsibility for income generation, partnerships and employer engagement, Matt works closely with industry leaders to embed wellbeing as a core part of organisations culture, not a bolt-on response in times of crisis.

Known for his straight-talking, no-nonsense approach, Matt is passionate about cutting through jargon and frameworks to focus on what genuinely makes a difference to people at work. Whilst structure, policy and professional support are important, he believes the power of human connection – one person checking in on another, listening without judgement, and knowing where to signpost for help – remains one of the most underused tools in workplace wellbeing.
