“The automotive sector is at a defining point. As we respond to electrification, resource pressures and rising sustainability expectations, we have an opportunity to redesign not only how vehicles are built and repaired, but how our industry is led. Diverse leadership is fundamental to delivering that long-term transformation.”
“I’m proud to re-join the Automotive 30% Club as a Patron at such a pivotal time for our sector. The scale of change underway across automotive demands bold thinking, collaborative leadership and a commitment to building organisations that are fit for the future. Increasing representation at senior levels is central to that ambition.
At LKQ SYNETIQ, a joint venture formed between LKQ Europe and IAA UK, our focus is on advancing circular economy solutions and embedding sustainability into mainstream vehicle repair. From responsibly dismantling end-of-life vehicles to increasing the adoption of recycled original equipment parts, we are helping reshape how value is created across the automotive lifecycle. Delivering this requires strategic alignment across insurers, repairers and supply chain partners – as well as teams that bring different perspectives and experiences to the table.
Our approach is grounded in building capability for the long term. Strengthening operational excellence and fostering a culture where challenge and innovation are encouraged. For me, diversity is not a standalone initiative; it is part of how we drive better decision-making, improve resilience and create sustainable growth. Alongside my operational responsibilities, I’m also part of the European Women’s Network Steerco which enables me to support on progression and representation across the business.
There is clear momentum across the industry, but meaningful progress requires continued focus and shared accountability.
I was previously a member of the Automotive 30% Club during my time as CFO at LKQ UK & Ireland, where I championed the business’s decision to join. Continuing that commitment in my current role is important to me. I look forward to re-joining the community of Patrons to help shape an automotive sector that is innovatively strong and truly representative of the talent within it.”
