“The Automotive 30% Club is an important and influential long-term initiative, one that has been popularly received within the automotive industry.
We’re proud to have been a part of it since 2021, and we’ll continue to support it as a Silver Member moving forward.”
During that time, we’ve evolved as an organisation, and made significant strides in becoming a more inclusive and open business. We’re proud signatories of the Women in Finance Charter, alongside launching our GROW Network (Generating Real Opportunities for Women), which continues to provide a platform for our female staff to shape and direct the business. Alongside this, the Network is designed to support our motor retailer and broker partners, whilst increasing female representation across all motor retailing levels.
We value accountability in this space. It provides us with an opportunity to challenge ourselves and think differently about how we drive sustained progress. We continue to take meaningful action through a range of internal initiatives, including across development and leadership, mentoring and networking programmes, equitable decision-making systems, family and wellbeing policies, as well as fostering strong inclusion and allyship via our employee resource groups.
Ultimately, we remain just as keen as we were when joining the Club in 2021 to support innovative and sustainable approaches that unlock the full potential of our colleagues. We’re encouraged by the progress made and are committed to driving meaningful and lasting improvements across our organisation. This is evidenced by our analysis into female representation within MotoNovo Finance.
In 2025, 96% of female employees received a bonus; 36% of our upper quartile staff and nearly half (47%) of our upper middle quartile staff are women. We’ll build on our strong foundations and the insights gained from our learnings. There remains plenty to do, and like everyone else, we don’t get everything right, but we’re learning all of the time.
Together with the Club and its numerous partner organisations, we must build on the progress made, without becoming complacent about the task ahead of us. Millions of people in the UK rely on a strong, competitive and fair automotive industry.
